Shane's Ice Cream team

We all know a family member or friend who has battled cancer.

For Connor and me, that person is my father, Shane Fife. My father was first diagnosed in his 60s. After treatment and surgery, he was given the wonderful news that he was in remission. However, after only a few years, the cancer returned. By the time it was found, it was too late. Five years after his initial diagnosis, my father—and Connor’s Pop—lost his battle. He left behind a wonderful, caring family who hold amazing memories of him and have grown into great people because of his influence.

To us, Dad was a fun-loving man who loved his family immensely. He spent every moment he could with his family and friends, travelling the world and enjoying life’s simple pleasures, like a trip to the bakery or an ice cream.

We love and miss him so much. We ask that you please dig deep—not only in memory of my father, but for every loved one, family member, and friend still fighting this battle. Any amount, big or small, will make a real difference.
