On August 19th 2021, my father, and Valin’s step father Shane was diagnosed with cancer. It was a tough battle, but through countless sessions of chemo and radiation, multiple operations, and lots of strength and support, Dad made it out cancer free and alive. Although we didn’t shave our head in solidarity then, we want to do it right this time, marking 5 years since Dad was diagnosed with cancer, hoping to make him proud and help the lives of so many others!
