Im going bald for blood cancer

Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.  

Blood cancer is the most common cancer diagnosis for children.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.  

I have never encountered anyone with cancer, and I am glad that I haven't, though I am well aware that it is a major problem worldwide. Raising funds to support patients and research is imperative for increasing the survival rate for survivors. Raising funds also supports patients in less than ideal socioeconomic situations pay for treatment. Cancer is mostly random, meaning it could affect anyone you know at any time of their life, so supporting them, and strangers with cancer crucial in making the world a better place. Cancer patients also have the highest risk of suicide, so supporting them emotionally and checking with them is also vital.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference(but preferably big).
