As a participant of this program, I am not just doing it for the awareness of blood cancer, but also for my grandmother named Rhonda Thomas, who is battling cancer right now! She is going through chemotherapy at the moment and battling everyday challenges that face her. I am doing this for cancer because cancer sucks and making an awareness for this big problem might just help us as humans one day find a cure.
But for now, any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
