Help me take a stand against blood cancer
15 years ago my grandmother lost her life so quickly to cancer. This has had a profound impact on my life and the lives of my family. Each year since her passing I have made an effort to be mindful of others (this is something she would do) and I have donated to a number of cancer research, support, or other charities each year.
I had an idea almost five years ago to grow my hair out to be able to donate my hair to make a wig for cancer patients. This in itself has been a challenge. I have been tempted to cut it so many times. Now is the time.
I am joining the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave and cutting my hair to then donate my hair.
By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
