Help me take a stand against blood cancer

I'm Shaving My Head on My Birthday – Because My Year 12s Dared Me To (And It's For a Good Cause)

To mark the last day of term—and my birthday—I’ll be taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave, raising vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

This idea actually came from my Year 12 Literature ATAR class, who dared me to do it. I said yes—but with conditions.

I’ve lost a grandmother to cancer, and while it wasn’t blood cancer, I know how deeply this disease affects families. So, I’m doing this in her memory—and with your help, we can raise money to support those fighting it today.

💇‍♂️ No Haircuts Until Then

From now until the end of term, I won’t cut my hair at all. The longer it gets, the more satisfying the shave.

🎯 Tiered Shave Goals: For Each Tier, We Go A Bit Shorter

  • $500 = Number 4 with the clippers

  • $1250 = Number 3 with the clippers

  • $2250 = Number 2 with the clippers

  • $3500 = Number 1 with the clippers

  • $5000+ = Fully bald (yes, I’ll BIC it)

✂️ Bonus Challenge:

The student or person who donates the highest single amount gets to shave my head on the day; if fully bald, you can leave that to the professionals (or not, I guess!)

Every dollar counts. If you're here for the cause, the chaos, or just want to see me go bald—thank you.

Thanks for having your say
