Help Me Take a Stand for Those Fighting Cancer

Hi, I am Sophie, this will be my second year taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave, but this time it’s deeply personal. My nan in England is currently living with leukemia after battling bowel cancer, and I’ve also lost some close friends to cancer. Watching the people I love go through something so painful and knowing how many others are facing the same fight is heartbreaking.

This year, I’m cutting 20cm of my hair to donate. My hair is something that makes me feel beautiful and confident. Letting it go isn’t easy, and it means a lot to me. But I keep thinking about the people who lose their hair during treatment, something they never chose and how hard that must be. If donating my hair can help even one person feel a little more like themselves, a little more confident, and a little more beautiful during such a difficult time, then it’s worth everything.

I’m doing this for my nan, for the friends I’ve lost, and for every person and family impacted by cancer. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. Thank you for helping me turn something that makes me feel beautiful into something that helps someone else feel beautiful too.
