Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Hey!
I am sure you would agree with me when I say that blood cancer is scary. Anyone who has had their life touched by this terrible disease knows the devastating impact that comes with oftentimes long, protracted treatment, isolation and distance from home. Even today with medical advance and so much research it is still scary. Scary for someone who is going through it and for people around them. It does not discriminate the gender or age. Countless people have lost their lives and loved ones due to this deadly disease. I myself have lost loved ones to this disease and have also known people who have lost their loved ones to it.
Today — another 47 Aussies will hear the words 'you have blood cancer' and they'll experience the terrifying, uncertain moments that follow a new diagnosis.
And so, for them — and the 47 people who will hear the same words tomorrow — I am taking part in World's Greatest Shave.
To win the battle against this, I am taking part in this movement to raise awareness and funds. And I need your support in this. Please donate and help me in raising funds and raising awareness — as well as furthering the search for a cure by the brightest minds in research.
