Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Hi. My name is Robbie. I am 9 years old. To anyone who knows me, family and friends, know that I have long hair. It has been growing all my life.

Bar trims and undercuts, the top part has been cut only once and that was when I was 3. Even then, as you can see in my pictures, it was still above my shoulders.

I love my hair. I do need help looking after it but I still love it. I have had it that long that this how people recognise and identify me.

But when I heard there were kids/children that couldn’t grow their hair due to cancers, particularly leukaemia, I have made the decision to cut my trademark hair off.

I know it’s not much hair but I am hoping that it is still enough to inspire donations to help this cause.

To me it’s just hair and my trademark but to others it’s confidence and the chance to have normality.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

My Updates

Took a measurement

Sunday 26th Oct
Mum thought it would be a good idea to get a photo to show how long my hair is. So we took this photo. We didn’t have a ruler long enough so we made one up. It shows my plait is 50cm long.
