Help me take a stand against blood cancer

I've been overdue for a haircut for a while and have been considering a fresh, shorter style. As I thought about it, I couldn't help but think of the children I see on the kids' ward undergoing chemotherapy. These young patients often face hair loss, an experience they have no control over, and it’s one of the most visible reminders of their fight against cancer. The emotional and physical toll this takes on both them and their families is immense.

Shaving my head might seem like a small gesture, but it’s something I can do to show solidarity with these incredible kids and their families. By raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, I hope to contribute, even in a small way, to easing the burdens these families face and supporting critical research into blood cancers.

While it's only a drop in the ocean compared to what these children go through, if my actions can make a difference, raise awareness, or provide even a bit of comfort, I believe it's worth it. This is my way of standing with them in their fight

Inara is Colouring her Hair!

Thursday 27th Mar
Inara is honoring her beloved Grandma Christine Hamilton, who sadly passed away from Multiple Myeloma 10 years ago, by coloring her hair in support of the Leukaemia Foundation. Christine was all about her grandchildren, and Inara only had 5 precious years with her, filled with love. Now, Inara wants to help ensure other children don’t miss out on having their grandparents around by raising funds for research and support for those affected by blood cancer. Inara’s school, Newstead Christian School, is proudly supporting her in this endeavour, allowing her to colour her hair with her peers at school. She’s incredibly grateful for their support! As for the colour, What colour do you think would be the best way to show her support?
