In our family’s immediate circle of family and friends, several people have died of various cancers: brain cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, throat cancer, breast cancer and also blood cancer.
That’s why I’m taking on the World’s Greatest Shave.
I am donating my hair to Sustainable Salons who will see that it’s made into a wig for someone suffering hair loss as a result of medical treatment.
By donating any amount - big or small - to my page, you’ll help raise funds for life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
Remembering the people our family have loved and lost - Gragra, Pam, Amity, Suzanne, Sandy, Vanessa, Lucy, Dadji, Nat, and Ted, and grateful for those who, due to huge research efforts and careful treatment, have survived.
