Help me take a stand against blood cancer

This is my second year doing 'Colour for a Cure' after my very dear friend Lesley was diagnosed with AML Leukaemia in December 2024. For her, this came a matter of weeks after her Dad was diagnosed with the same.

Since that time sadly Lesley's Dad, Ken, has passed away.

In 2025, Lesley received a bone marrow transplant that didn't quite get the job done. So she is now on a drug trial that is allowing her to live her life with her family and spend time with the extraordinary people she has gathered around her.

I am conscious that this trial most likely wouldn't be available without funds raised from Shave for a Cure. She's a special lady and what a great cause to support.

Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

Thanks for having your say
