Last year, I watched one of my colleagues take part in the World’s Greatest Shave. He’d had long hair for years, and seeing him shave it all off to raise money and awareness for people living with blood cancer was inspiring.
After that, I decided that the next year, I’d take part myself. So, I made a commitment: I wouldn’t cut my hair until it was time to shave it for this amazing cause.
Now, it’s finally time. I’ll be shaving it all off to raise vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, helping Australians facing blood cancer and supporting research towards better treatments and a cure.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. If you’d like to support my shave, you’ll be helping provide emotional and practical support for families going through one of the toughest challenges of their lives.
