Help me take a stand against blood cancer

This is my 19th year working as a haematology nurse at Westmead Hospital. Over those years I have seen the struggles my patients go through on a daily basis.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave for the fourth time. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

Past the $250 mark... but more would be great :)

I grew my hair initially because my hairdresser was too far away, so I boycotted haircuts.

I haven't said this yet, but May 25th is actually my birthday, I thought nothing interesting usually happens on my birthday anymore so why not WGS.

What colour should I try before I shave my hair?

Tomorrow you'll say goodbye to your unruly hair that you've been growing for too long. But whilst you are getting this much awaited hair cut, you'll also be showing active support to many of your patients past, current and future. Well done Baldy!
