Help me take a stand against blood cancer

While I myself have not been affected by blood cancer in my lifetime, a dear friend of mine who lost her battle with ovarian cancer taught me a priceless life lesson; that while we can't always control what happens in life, we *can* choose our attitude.

To honour her memory (and excellent advice), I've chosen to get more involved with the causes that matter to me and to strive to make meaningful contribution where I can, in ways I previously would never have had the courage to do - which is why I'll be shaving all of the bright and whacky coloured hair from my head this year as part of the World's Greatest Shave, with the intention of raising money to support the work of the Leukemia Foundation.

By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

Thanks for having your say
