Shaving in Memory of My Mum ❤️
On July 18th, 2025, I lost my incredible mum, Pamela, to Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer. After previously battling and beating breast cancer, she lived with Multiple Myeloma for just 18 months — a short time that changed all of our lives forever.
Mum was the kind of person who could strike up a conversation with anyone, and within minutes make them feel like a lifelong friend. She had a passion for crocheting, a heart full of kindness, and she loved nothing more than being with her family.
Watching her battle with such strength, courage, and dignity changed my life — and now I want to do something to honour her memory and help others facing the same fight. That’s why I’m taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave.
On November 21st, I’ll be shaving off all my hair to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, who provide crucial support services and help fund research into better treatments — and one day, a cure.
This is for Mum.
This is for every family affected by blood cancer.
And this is for hope.
