In honour of Patrice and Louise - Long Locks to Baldy Badger
G' day Friends
After 4 years of growing it i think its time to let go of my long luscious locks for a wonderful cause finding a path to cure Blood Cancer.
~20 year ago the Van Houtte family welcomed Jason and I into
their home and hearts in the wonderful place of Quebec. It was immediately
touching that Patrice and Louise loved life and had beautiful spirits and
wonderful senses of humour that was infectious to all around them.
Harshly blood cancer came into Louise’s life when I was living in Quebec but
this didn't stop them living life to the full. A visit in the last couple of years it was
evident the disease had taken its physical toll on them both over the years and
even though in pain and struggling with the later stages of the disease, Louise
was full of life, fun and laughter.
The
disease finally passed Louise on this year after the +20 year battle, and
Patrice passed just a couple of months later. Very tough on the family to have them both
leave this world so close together.
Their amazing spirit lives on in our great friends the awesome Van Houtte family.
Patrice and Louise will be missed greatly by all who have ever known them and
they will always have a special place in our hearts.
It is my honour to dedicate this fund raising to Patrice and Louise
