🩸 Josh was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in January 2022 two days before his eighth birthday. After nearly three years of fighting & intense treatment he is about to embrace the baldness again but this time on his terms!
🗓️ On Friday 4th April Josh is participating in the World’s Greatest shave.
Josh wants to do this for his Pop, the doctors, nurses & all of his friends at hospital in the thick of treatment that he still sees at his regular visits to Monash Childrens.
Most of all he wants to honour those treasured souls who weren’t as fortunate as our family like local boy Sam Willemsen (14/10/2003-08/01/2023) & the beautiful Bluelily Greetham-Steen (02/03/2010-22/03/2024) 🦋
Josh & Blue made some of the most incredible memories together at hospital which both our families will all cherish forever.
Josh hopes to raise as much money as possible to help the leukaemia foundation continue to improve treatments & outcomes for anyone that maybe affected by blood cancer past, present or in the future.
Well done Josh you are one of a kind & as we say at home you are amongst the bravest of the brave.
We love you & are so proud of you.
