Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

Thanks for having your say

My Updates

My reasons

Sunday 30th Mar
I’m doing the Worlds greatest shave (chopping off my ponytail for now- if I raise enough I’ll shave it all off! So get donating) in support of those effected directly, through loved ones past and present. My step-father has liver and bowel cancer and I’ve seen the tremendous toll it’s taken on himself and his health and well as my youngest brother whose just turned 10 who everyday is terrified he might lose his dad and he doesn’t understand

I’ve seen the toll it’s taken on my amazing mum from being at every appointment and cancer treatment, to watching her husband get sick and not able to stomach food or go about his once active and lively life. I’ve seen how it effects my sister and her family being closest in location to my mum and stepdad and seeing him deteriorate

I’ve seen how cancer impacts those left behind with some of my closest and dearests friends grow up without members of their family. I’ve got a (stand- in) grandmother who had battled cancer twice and she is one of the strongest people I have ever met and lover her, she loves me even though she isn’t my real grandmother

Cancer of any description is such a plague and has a massive ripple effect on everyone in their life. This specifically is for blood cancer and being a type one diabetic is a cause for a concern

So please donate what you can to help the people and families (and pets!! They don’t understand why their owner can’t do what they used to, is gone all the time and smell different) effected

Follow along to see the big chop (or shave!)
