I'm fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave
Having someone so close to me being diagnosed with blood cancer recently has brought this fundraiser very close to heart. I have always desired to take part in this and am regretful to have not done so earlier.
Because maybe if I had done so sooner we would be closer to culling the deaths from this Cancer. By taking part in this fundraiser I hope to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation, to give Australians facing blood cancer life-changing practical and emotional support. And to fund critical research, in hopes that one day no one will have to take this on in fear of losing the battle.
Blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis. There are 140,000 families facing blood cancer right now. And it takes the lives of 16 Australians every day.
These numbers are set to double by 2035. Unless we do something about it. That's why I've signed up for the World's Greatest Shave. Whether myself taking part gets a donation from you, encourages you to take part in this beautiful project, or just simply brings awareness, I will be happy.
