I’m cutting my hair to stand in solidarity with those who don’t have a choice.

Cancer has touched the lives of people I care about—friends, families in my community, and students at my school whose loved ones have been diagnosed. Their stories of courage, grief, and resilience have stayed with me, and I want to do something that shows them they’re not alone.

That’s why I’ve chosen to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave. I’m cutting my hair not just as a symbol of support, but as a way to raise awareness and funds for people living with leukaemia and other blood cancers.

Every day in Australia, 53 people are told they have a blood cancer—that’s one person every 27 minutes. By donating, you’re helping the Leukaemia Foundation provide vital support services, fund groundbreaking research, and work towards a future where no one faces cancer alone.

My personal fundraising goal is $700, but I’d love to go far beyond that. I’m proud to be part of a school-wide team effort to raise $10,000, and many of us are doing this for people we love.

If you’re able to give—whether a little or a lot—it makes a real difference.

Let’s bring hope to families facing cancer, one donation at a time.

My Updates

I’m Cutting My Hair for Cancer Support

Thursday 7th Aug

Big news! On October 10, I’m cutting my hair as part of the World’s Greatest Shave. Cancer has impacted families and friends around me, and this is my way of standing beside those who are facing blood cancer today.

Every dollar raised goes to support the Leukaemia Foundation’s amazing work—funding research, providing care, and walking alongside people through some of life’s hardest moments.

My goal is to raise $700, and I’d love to go beyond that. I’m also part of my school team, working toward a $10,000 goal. Let's make it happen!

If you’d like to donate or share the link, I’d be so grateful. 💙
