Shaving for Strength with my Sisters and Partner

Two weeks ago, our lives changed when I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Since then, I've had endless scans, hospital visits, and conversations I never thought I would have at this stage of my life. I know this will probably be the hardest thing I will ever have to go through, but I am so thankful I will not walk this journey alone.

I would never be able to get through this without the love and support of family and friends around me. Every single message, call and hug means so much more than I can ever explain. I don't know what these coming months will look like, but I find comfort knowing I have so many people supporting me.

I’ve decided to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave alongside my beautiful siblings (Natasha and Kayla) and my amazing Partner (Rob). We’re shaving/cutting our hair not only to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation but also to show that cancer will not take away our courage, our hope, or our fight.

The Leukaemia Foundation helps people like me by funding life-saving research, providing emotional support, and easing the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference for people facing blood cancer.

I know the road ahead won’t be easy, but I’m facing it with determination, surrounded by incredible people who lift me up every day.
