Help me take a stand against blood cancer

It is 27 years since my family held a shave in Lismore in support of a loving husband, father and grandfather, Eric Graydon, who had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. The event, headed up by his daughter Cathy Graydon, was an amazing event and was the launching pad for the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.

During Eric’s treatment in Brisbane, the Leukaemia Foundation provided them with a ‘home away from home’ for the next 15 months.

On 1st August, a team from St John’s College Woodlawn, including myself, are holding a fundraising event. Every donation, big or small, helps a patient and family that walked the same road that they did, as well as providing much needed funding for research to find a cure for this devastating disease.

Great work mate. Eric (senior) was one of the greats and I reckon he’d be so proud of this movement and your effort.
