In memory of Mum and in support of others with blood cancer

Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.

My Mum lost the battle against blood cancer in 2015, but not without a solid fight and a number of years support from the Leukaemia Foundation through that time.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

For my family, support from the Leukaemia Foundation meant the ability for my Mum to stay close to the hospital (5h drive from her home) for transfusions and tests every week for a number of years during her treatment. In addition to practical support like that for patients and their families, Leukaemia Foundation fund important research to advance treatment of blood cancers.

Any amount – big or small – to support their mission will make a real, tangible difference.

Thanks in advance!
