Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
The Leukaemia Foundation is the only dedicated blood cancer support service in Australia, and they do incredible work in supporting families affected by blood cancer and fuelling research to find a cure for blood cancer.
Blood cancer is a cancer that affects a large proportion of our nation, with 16 people per day expected to lose their lives to it every day.
Not only is this an amazing cause to be a part of, I have a personal connection to blood cancer, as my grandfather passed away from leukaemia in 2017. Losing a family member is always hard, but his death was especially difficult as he was the person who had introduced music into my life and encouraged my parents to put me into singing lessons. Without him, I may not be at John Curtin studying Music Theatre and have the incredible life that I have now, along with the lifelong connections I have made at school.
All donations will go towards the Leukaemia Foundation and their fight against blood cancer. Please donate what you can—every dollar helps and is deeply appreciated.
