Help me take a stand against blood cancer
After more than 8 years of growing my hair, I’ve finally decided it’s time for a change — and more importantly, it’s time to give back. I’m taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave, not just to lose the locks, but to support a cause that’s become deeply personal to me.
Over recent years, I’ve watched close friends go through the incredibly tough experience of being diagnosed with different types of cancer. Their strength through treatment and recovery has been nothing short of inspiring. More recently, someone in my own family has been diagnosed with leukemia and is currently in the middle of their fight.
Watching what they go through — the uncertainty, the exhaustion, the emotional and financial toll — really puts things into perspective. That’s why I’m doing this. The Leukaemia Foundation provides crucial support to families and individuals facing blood cancer, and the funds raised through this campaign help provide accommodation, transport, emotional support, and fund vital research.
By donating or sharing this cause, you’re helping people get through some of the hardest times in their lives. Every bit of support makes a real difference. Thank you for backing me — and everyone fighting cancer — through this journey.
And as a little bonus — if I hit my fundraising goal, the mustache and goatee are going too! Let’s make it happen.
To mark the big moment, I’ll be hosting a BBQ and drinks on the 2nd of August for all my friends and family. If you want to come watch the hair come off — or even lend a hand with the trimmers — you’re more than welcome! It’ll be a great afternoon for a great cause.
