Saying goodbye to my ‘luscious locks’
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day. That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.
This is the third time in 9 years that I’ve consciously grown my hair past a 70/80cm length, to then be chopped to a bob & donated to different charities to make wigs for those who have lost their hair to cancer, alopecia or other medical conditions. This year, I’m skipping past the bob and heading straight for the clippers to not only donate my hair, but to fundraise for the Leukaemia Foundation as well.
