Help me take a stand against blood cancer

In March, I will be participating in the World's Greatest shave to help raise money for the Leuakemia Foundation. My first shave was in 2012 at 18 yo, raising just over $1,000. Four years later I shaved again and raised $2,200. Fast forward 10 years, my goal is to beat my previous efforts!

In 1999, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia and have been in remission since 2001. I am one of the lucky ones that beat the odds. While I personally don't remember much, I know the pressure it can put on families. There are over 170,000 Australians currently facing the impacts of blood cancer, with 17 losing their lives every day. The success rate for treatment has significantly improved over the years.

In preparation for my shave, I have spent the past two years making sure my hair is natural, healthy and clean to allow me to donate it to charity. The hair will support children living with cancer and undergoing chemo which makes you lose your hair.

By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
