Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
Loosing a leadership figure in my Guide Leader as a 12/13yo to lymphoma changed the course of my education choices. From early High School I decided that I wanted to contribute to cancer reasearch in some way. It lead to my love of science and studying of a Bachelors majoring in Biomolecular Sciences. With the aim of improving diagnostics so that more cases are caught earlier and more people survive.
That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
