Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

My Updates

Tomorrow is the day

Friday 30th Jan

With my shave happening tomorrow, I’ve found myself thinking more deeply about why I’m doing this.

This isn’t just about losing my hair — it’s about what this shave can lead to. The support it creates. The research it funds. The people it helps. People like my family, who had to watch my nan slowly leave this world to an illness we wish didn’t exist — just like so many other conditions that touch far too many lives.

Living with a chronic condition myself, endometriosis, has made this feel even more personal. It makes me wish for more research, more understanding, and more support for conditions that impact almost every human in some way. Illness doesn’t discriminate — and because of that, I believe compassion and support shouldn’t either.

This shave is my small way of standing with others. Of saying we see you, we care, and we’re in this together — even when our experiences look different.

I know that’s exactly what my nan would want. She lived through immense hardship, yet always showed kindness, generosity, and care to those around her — no matter who they were or where they came from.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. Tomorrow, I shave with purpose. 💛

Why I’m shaving my head (again)

Thursday 15th Jan

This year, I’m shaving my head for the World’s Greatest Shave — and this one is personal.

In April 2024, we lost my beautiful Grandma, Nanny Rain, to blood cancer. She was strong, kind, and endlessly loved, and not a day goes by that she isn’t missed. This shave is for her.

This will be my third time shaving my head for the World’s Greatest Shave, but it’s the first time I’m dedicating it to someone who meant the world to me. Blood cancer research saves lives, supports families, and gives people more time — something we all wish we had more of.

By donating, you’re helping fund research, treatment, and support for people and families facing blood cancer, so others don’t have to say goodbye too soon.

If you’re able to donate, share, or cheer me on — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This one’s for you, Nanny Rain 💛
