The community of Point Clare, Tascott and Koolewong are raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation
POINT KOOLECOTT’S GREATEST SHAVE
Cancer sucks. We miss our local hero, Nicole Falconer. We can’t run 100km.But, we can grow hair.
The Leukaemia Foundation funds support services and research for over 100 types of blood cancer. Lamese is a blood cancer survivor. So, she’s first up under the shears.
SOME FACTS
1. Sonia, from Hair Studio 24 will be conducting the shave on Saturday 15 November 2025.
2. Sonia will also be doing Lamese’s hair in the lead up to the shave.
We will keep you updated with hair progress over the next month.
3. If we receive $3000 in donations to the Leukaemia Foundation before Saturday 15 November 2025, Cat of Locomotive Station, will also volunteer to have her hair shaved.
4. THEN, if we hit $7000 in donations to the Leukaemia Foundation before Saturday 15 November 2025, Sue of Locomotive Station, will also have all the hair on her head removed by Sonia, of Hair Studio 24.
All the staff of Locomotive station will then be bald for Summer.

Hey it’s Sue next door. My mum had leukaemia and found a wonderful doctor on the coast that kept her alive for 30 years. That was bc of the research done on aids. So let’s hope the next bit of research and support can grow. Good luck.
