Start asking for sponsorship as early as possible.

Ask everyone you know to sponsor you: friends, club members, colleagues, clients, customers, other stores or departments and suppliers.

Cash and cheques

Asking face-to-face is very successful
We’ll provide you with an official book of receipts to give to sponsors who give you cash or cheque
We’ll also give you a bank deposit slip so you can take your fundraising to the bank.
Ask your business to consider dollar-matching the amount raised by staff
It’s best to ask people to give you their money straight away, as it’s harder to ask for the money afterwards.
If you need to keep track of pledges ask for a pledge form by calling 1800 500 088 or download one here.
Keep a record of who has each receipt book so that it’s easier to get them back after the event. You can download a ‘receipt book tracking sheet’ here

The email contains a link directly to your page, so people can sponsor you with the credit card – they get an email receipt straight away – easy!
