Time to join in the fun!

Shave or colour your hair to help families facing the challenge of blood cancer.

Today, 31 Australians will be given the devastating news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or a related blood disorder.

That's 1,000 families who will have their lives turned upside down in the next month.

That's why we're asking you to commit to be brave and shave, colour or wax your hair in March.

We're trying to raise $20million in 2015 to help people with blood cancer and if you promise to help, our team of experts will support and guide you every step of the way.

We'll help you make the most of your sacrifice and collect sponsorship to reduce the impact of blood cancer.  The money people give you will fund the Leukaemia Foundation’s important work - giving families the emotional and practical support they need, as weill as investing cash into research to find cures.

Go on, make 2015 the year you decide to be brave and shave!

How To Raise $500 In One Week

The key is to ask! The answer is always no... unless you ask!

Ask yourself! Start by making your own donation for $25.

Ask three family members to sponsor you for $25 each. Don’t forget to give your sponsors a tax-deductible receipt from your book if they want one.

Ask two businesses you frequent to donate $25 each.

Ask five co-workers to sponsor you for $20 each. If they give online as they'll get a receipt by email.

Ask five people at your school, club or church to donate $10 each.

Ask your boss for a company contribution of $100. Check to see if there's a dollar matching scheme as a great way to double your money.

Ask five friends to donate $20 each.

That's $500! Always tell your sponsors that their donation will go towards research, which is needed to find better treatments and cures for leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, as well as supporting families when they need it most with a home-away-from-home near hospital during their treatment and other practical assistance and emotional support, all free of charge.
