How many people are affected by blood cancers?

More than 11,500 Australians will be diagnosed with blood cancers and related blood disorders this year and although survival rates are improving, blood cancer is our second biggest cause of cancer death.

In 2012 it is projected that:
More than 4,700 Australians will be diagnosed with lymphoma
More than 3,200 Australians will be diagnosed with leukaemia
More than 1,500 Australians will be diagnosed with myeloma
