How do I make my photo smaller?
Often photos taken by digital cameras are too large to be viewed on this website. If you plan on uploading a photo to your Personal Profile Page, you may need to make a smaller copy on your computer first. Try these tips:
Adjust the image quality setting on your digital camera to take photos at a smaller resolution, such as 800x600 or smaller. This may make them small enough to upload.
Does your digital camera come with image editing software? If it’s installed on your computer, open the software and follow the instructions to resize your photos. Remember to Save As a different file name so as not to overwrite your original (large) photo. Always save the photo in JPG/JPEG format
