Can I donate my fundraising to the Queensland flood appeal instead?
Sorry but it's not legal to collect donations for one cause and then give them to another, however urgently they need it.
Your sponsors have made their donation to support the Leukaemia Foundation, so that's where the money has to go. This applies to online donations and any cash you've been given towards your shave.
If you want to raise funds to support the Queensland flood appeal, ask people for donations separately to any fundraising you're doing for World's Greatest Shave.
And make sure you don't give those sponsors receipts from your World's Greatest Shave receipt book.
