The Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave is one of Australia’s biggest fundraising events. 100,000 people across the country will shave or colour their hair.

Ask family, friends or workmates to sponsor you. In return for their donation they will get to see you with brightly coloured hair or no hair at all!
Why
The money you raise from the Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave will directly support patients and their families when they need it most. It means we can provide them with a free ‘home-away-from-home’ near hospital during their treatment, transport them to appointments and provide as much emotional support as we can, all free of charge. The money you raise will also go towards research into better treatments and cures.
Who
Everyone can participate and a fun way to take part is with a group of friends, workmates or club members. Not everyone has to shave – some members of your group could colour their hair or guys could wax their legs or chest!
Together you'll have more fun and raise more money through sponsorship. Choose a 'coordinator' to contact the Leukaemia Foundation on behalf of the group.
When
This year's main event was held from 13-15th March. However you can still take part at anytime! Many people participate at a later date when it's more convenient for them.
Where
As the main event is over for 2008, it’s best to organise your own or arrange a shave with a local hairdresser.
